Norman Hall's Obituary
Norman A. Hall, Jr., 85, of Memphis, passed away June 22, 2010 at Methodist North Hospital. He was retired from the Memphis Park Commission. Mr. Hall, a World War II Navy Veteran, was a deacon of First Baptist Church. Mr. Hall loved his volunteer service at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and his work with the children of First Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Marjorie Hall of 58 years; a daughter, Karen Thomas and her husband Rick of Memphis, TN; a son, Kevin Hall and his wife Diana of Shawnee, OK; a brother, Preston Hall; and four grandchildren, Brian Hall, Bonnie Hall, Bethany Hall, and Shelby Thomas. The visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. today, Thursday, June 24, at First Baptist Church, 200 East Parkway N. Memphis, TN. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. also on Thursday, at First Baptist Church. The interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Alzheimer’s Association Mid-South Chapter.
