Norman "Butch" Brakefield's Obituary
Norman (Butch) Leon Brakefield 84 passed away at Cordova Wellness Center in Cordova , TN
on 05-29-2022.
Mr. Brakefield is survived by his sons Richard (Kim) and Roger (Kerri); Sister Pat Simmons; Grandchildren Lindsay Murray (Billy) Lauren Brakefield (Alex Laird) and Brandon Ketchum; and his sweet Little Shadow Lizzy. He was Proceeded in death by his wife Betty Brakefield, His Mother Daisey Mae, his Father Carl Brakefield; his Sisters Carolyn Barnes and Sue Byers and Brother William Brakefield.
Mr. Brakefield was in the Airforce, He spent his time with the Shriners here in Memphis and He was also a Mason in the Somerville Tn chapter. He belonged to the IBEW Local 474 Electrical Union for 64 years.
The Family will receive Family and Friends Thursday June 2, 2022 at 10:00 am for visitation until the service begins at 11:00 am. at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial will immediately follow at Memory Hills Gardens at 3700 Germantown Rd.
Memorials may be made in Memory of Norman (Butch) Brakefield to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or to the Alchymia Shrine Burn Center.
