Norma Simpson Perry's Obituary
Norma Simpson Perry, age 96 of Memphis, Tennessee died peacefully on July 27, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul J. Perry and her parents, Marylou and John Simpson and sister, Mary Delores Rickard. She is survived by four daughters: Patricia Kirby (Ronald), Paula Maslowski (Tom), Margie Crocker (Kevin), and Janice Washburn (Mike), ten grandchildren: Philip Kirby, Amy Kirby Lemaster, Jonathan DeStefanis, Paul Destefanis, Anne DeStefanis Williams, Eric Crocker, Curt Crocker, Elaine Washburn Clowers, David Washburn, Rachel Washburn Weatherly, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Norma attended St. Agnes and graduated from Tech High School. She was a talented artist, enjoyed painting, and was an early member of the Germantown Art League. She was an active member of Saint John's Episcopal Church for many years where she taught Sunday School.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to talk about her family to everyone she met, and she always had pictures to show the family's most recent events. The family would like to thank the staff at The Village at Germantown for their care over the past 5 years and most recently, Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.
We will miss her and we are thankful for her life.
A private graveside service for the family will be held at Memorial Park with Fr. Terry Street of St. Philip Episcopal Church officiating.
