Norma G. Duke's Obituary
Norma G. Duke, 89, of Memphis, TN, passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2023.
Mrs. Duke was one of a kind and never worked outside the home. She focused on taking care of her family her entire life. She was beloved by all who knew her and was a member of Highland Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Everett L. Duke, Sr., one grandchild, Teri Lynne Spencer, and her siblings, Florence Spano, Carolyn Stallings, and Milton Glidewell.
Survived by her children, Gail Bermel (Frank), Diane White (Ronnie), Lynn Dixon (Richard), Everett Duke, Jr. (Lisa), one niece who was like a daughter, Nikki Spano, grandchildren, Jimmy Price (Jenni), Mikey Price (Tracy), Willem Bermel (Helen), Shelby Pax (Nathan), Katie Simpson (Devan), Kyle Duke, Ryan Duke, Lacy Duke, 10 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
