Norah Evelyn (Eva) Peeler's Obituary
Norah Evelyn (Eva) Peeler,93, of Broken Arrow, OK passed away June 03, 2016. She was formerly a resident of Arlington, TN. Eva was born January 30, 1923 in Clearlake, AR to Walter Felix Lunsford and Norah Lee Craig. She married Jack Peeler of Paragould AR June 27, 1941. He preceded her in death in February 2012. For twenty-five years she served in the ministry with him at Open Door Tabernacle. Her life was a wonderful example of Christ’s love and kindness to others.Eva is survived by a son: Phillip (Sandra) Peeler, 3 daughters; Jacquelyn (Ronnie) Seward, Gwendolyn (Stan) Carpenter and Elizabeth A. PeelerSpitz; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 sisters; Brucie East, Roberta Runions and Yvonne Cole along with a brother Larry Lunsford.Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until her service begins at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar, Memphis, TN 38119. “Celebrating Life…..Behind the Stone Wall”.
