Nona Keltner's Obituary
Nona Inez “Iney” Keltner, 95, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 in Mount Pleasant, SC. Her parents, Henry and Lois Daniel; her sister, Helen Kinney, and three brothers, Jeddie, Rex and Major Daniel; and her husband of fifty-three years, Travis B. Keltner, Jr., preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mrs. Janie Johnstone and Mrs. Marcia Stringfellow, both of Germantown, TN; daughter, Mrs. Kathy Keltner Ham of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, Phillip Daniel Keltner (Lori) of Naples, FL; two stepsons, Travis B. Keltner, III of Bath, Maine and Rufus Max Keltner of Middleburg, FL; six grandchildren, Travis B. Keltner, IV of Salt Lake City, Utah; Joanna Keltner Holland of Ireland; Christopher Keltner (Kelly) of St. Augustine, FL; Kellie Ham McLain (David) and Travis Kirkland Ham (Laura) both of Mount Pleasant, SC; Christina Alexandra Keltner of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; and Great- grandchildren, Sophia Inez McLain, Samuel Thornton McLain, and Benjamin Alexander Ham all of Mount Pleasant, SC.
Iney was the epitome of southern hospitality and loved nothing more than a large family gathering at her home. A member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and Weeders and Seeders Garden Club, she enjoyed playing Bunco and Bridge. Her most treasured pastime was spending quality time with her family and loved ones. Her outgoing, fun-loving personality and her unconditional love will be missed dearly by all.
Graveside services will be Saturday, September 19th @ 1 pm, Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis, TN, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, “Pappy.”
