Condolences to all and may Nola rest in peace.
So many memories of my sweet little cousin Nola. I’ll always remember her infectious laughter and her enthusiasm for life. Her devotion to her patients was a testament to her character. She often spoke of how much she loved her family and my heart felt condolences and love go out to Elena, Edye, Mandy and Tim.
Met Nola in Galveston in the mid 70’s, we were young and looking back it seems like we spent a lot of time having fun, lots of dinners together . Lost contact and was so pleased when we reconnected on Facebook. Nola looked exactly the same with her beautiful smile and I could still hear her southern accent. I had no idea she was ill. Sending love and lightness to her family .❤️
I remember meeting you at the catholic club where are daughter's Elana and Amber became friends birthday parties cookouts and music we loved ,I shall miss you for ever always prayers for you and your family you have beautiful wings now just as beautiful as you ...fly high until we meet again .love you ❤️🙏🏻
Nola was like another sister. She will always be in my thought.
I am so sorry to hear about Nola. I met Nola in about 1998 or 1999, the same time I met the whole family at the East Memphis Catholic Club. Rachel would come swim just about everyday during the summer and the Nola, Elena and Edye would come mostly on the weekends. Back then, Nola and Edye were quite the pair. I always enjoyed when they came to the club because they were so fun and just brightened up the place. Sometimes they would even buy pretty hanging baskets of flowers to give the patio some color.
A few years ago, I learned that Nola was one of my sister Mary’s nurses. Mary and James loved Nola and really appreciated her kindness.
All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Bill sends his condolences, as well.
Love, Missy
