Nick Leoncavallo's Obituary
Nicholas “Nick” Leoncavallo, 89, of Germantown passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. He was retired from Hunter Fan after 34 years of service, was a World War II Navy Veteran serving 19 months in the South Pacific, was a Turret Gunner in a Douglas DBA Dauntless Dive Bomber and an avid wood worker. Mr. Leoncavallo was preceded in death by his wives, Zina Angelo Leoncavallo and Pauline Bramlett Leoncavallo; and is survived by his children, Nick Jr., John and Paul Leoncavallo; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, February 5, 2012 and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 6, 2012 both at Memorial Park Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family has requested the memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Madonna Learning Center.
