Ms Nancy, I will miss being your favorite cna for the time you were at Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, I was your certified IT lady too and you will be missed. I’m sorry I won’t be able to be there at your funeral, I’ll be sipping wine thinking about you, in gatlinburg. It was an honor to take care of you and you’re missed.
I met Nancy 24 years ago at Annual Meeting for what was then Girl Scout Council of the Mid-South. I was just beginning my Girl Scout career and she was the President of our Board of Directors. Upon meeting her I immediately knew how much she loved Girl Scouting.
Over the years I had many conversations and visits with Nancy. She had a sharp sense of humor which I thoroughly enjoyed and was always lively and about the business of Girl Scouts.
She so deeply wanted girls to have the same type of Girl Scout experience that she had as a youth, and she served and gave in every way possible to ensure that happened.
If there ever was an example of living out the Girl Scout Promise and Law, it was Ms. Nancy. She will forever live in our hearts.

I have wonderful memories of Nancy and Dick when I started a Roanoke College alumni group in Memphis years ago. We did a lot of fun things including a crazy Christmas gift Exchange where we Drew names and she was so much fun. She helped me a lot.
We also learned that we were both Chi Omegas. Godspeed to you and your family and you have all of my sympathy.
