Nan Warren Parish's Obituary
Nan Warren Parish, 101, of Memphis, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2010. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and a member of Kings Daughters. Mrs. Parish was actively involved in the PTA during Betty’s childhood. She enjoyed donating time in making stuffed animals and preemie gowns for the Baptist Women’s Auxiliary. Mrs. Parish was preceded in death by her husband H. G. “Mike” Parish. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Betty and Bill Wilson, her grandsons Parish Wilson, Forrest Wilson (Layne) and Warren Wilson all of Memphis, and a sister Eleanor W Jacobs of Camden, SC. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Monday, February 15, 2010, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at 10:30am, in Memorial Park Cemetery, with a memorial service at Kirby Pines Estates, where she lived. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Love Worth Finding Ministry (LWF.org) or charity of choice.
