Nabil "Nino" Sabbah's Obituary
Nabil “Nino” Sabbah, born February 1, 1948 in Haifa, Israel died on October 1, 2015 in Memphis, TN. He immigrated to the United States in 1974. He was preceded in death by his father, Naief Sabbah, and is survived by his mother, Rose Sabbah, of Cordova, TN. Nino leaves his brother Dr. Hani Sabbah (Carol) of Waterford, MI; sister, Frieda Khazen (Jalal) of Haifa, Israel; nephews, Romeo Khazen of Cordova, TN, Jon Paul Sabbah (Stacey) of Jacksonville, NC, and Dr. Michael Sabbah (Sara) of Cincinnati, OH; niece, Irene Sbait (Sliman) of Haifa, Israel; cousins, Dr. Ronnie Sabbah of Leesburg, FL, Rima Logan (Michael) of Cordova, TN, and Marlein Sabbah of Cordova, TN; and aunt, Chafica Sabbah of Cordova, TN; and was preceded in by his uncle, Rezek Sabbah. He also leaves his beloved partner of 28 years, Lee Teague of Memphis, TN. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly. Nino loved life. He was an avid admirer of car racing, Hollywood movies, wildlife, a good party, and a great bar-b-cue. He was the happiest of all being home in his kitchen cooking a great meal. Nino was the owner of Nino’s Benz and BMW’s and European International, Inc. Even in his later years, after his health deteriorated, he dreamed of opening another shop. The service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 9 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cordova, TN. The visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, October 8 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Any memorials may be made in his memory to Catholic Charities of Memphis.
