Mozelle Belluscio's Obituary
Frances Mozelle Hurdle Belluscio, 87 went peacefully to be with her Lord on March 19, 2014 . She was born in Slayden, MS on July 23,1926 to Vera and I.J.Hurdle. Mozelle graduated Salutatorian from Slayden High School and attended University of Mississippi where she earned an Associates Degree in Education. Mozelle then had the opportunity to teach Home Economics for for 2 years at Slayden High School. She was married August 1st, 1945 to Mario Belluscio and is survived by her sister, Cornelia Pepper of Vaughn MS. and her 3 daughters Carol Warren, Ramelle Orman both of Olive Branch MS. and Dawn Walls of Oakland TN. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Leigh Anne Tupper Mundy Easley , Justin Walls and Angie Byrum, her 9 great-grandchildren Erika, Lauren , Jordan, Montana , Clayton , Emily, Alexis , Cassidy and Liam and her 1 great-great-grandson Hayden. She is preceded in death by her loving and adoring husband Mario, her granddaughter Kim Umberger and her great-granddaughter Elizabeth Umberger . Mozelle was a board member of The Mary Galloway Home for 4 years and involved in many other community organizations. She was also an active member in many local social clubs including gardening, bridge, sewing and dinner club. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Memphis where she was the out reach leader for the Love (formerly Hanna) Sunday school class for 24 years. Mozelle was an amazing Southern woman full of grace, charm, eloquence and beauty. Mozelle will be remembered for her loving spirit and will be missed by all that knew her.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall”
