Miree Pomering's Obituary
MIREE MCDOUGLE POMERING, 90, of Lakeland, retired Human Resources Manager for Raleigh K-Mart after 28 years, died at Kings Daughters & Sons Home of Bartlett on Tues., July 1. Visitation will be Fri. from 5-7 p.m. with services Sat. at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home (5668 Poplar Ave). Interment will follow at graveside in Memorial Park Cemetery. A proud veteran, Miree served in the Army. She was an active member of the American Business Woman’s Association (ABWA) and Raleigh-Bartlett Civitan Club. In her passing Miree joins her heavenly father, sweet sister Janis DeBardeleben Epler, beloved husband Hans Pomering and children Alicia Rossi and Allen Pomering. She is survived by her granddaughter Brandi Rossi Konda, grandson Tim, niece Kristen M. Hunter (Epler), nephew-in-law Wade Hunter and great-niece Megan. As a devoted member for nearly 50 years and former Deacon and Elder of Grace Presbyterian (formerly Raleigh Presbyterian Church), the family requests that any memorials be sent to 6671 Yale Rd, Bartlett TN 38134.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, 901-767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.
