Minnie Walker's Obituary
Minnie Dean “Mini” Walker, 91, went to be with the Lord December 21, 2016. She was born September 13, 1925 in Camden, TN to Queenie and Ira Presson. She was raised in love by her uncle, Tobe Watson and his wife, Minnie, who she always considered as her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jack Walker; children, Cynthia Brandon (Gil) and Harlon Walker (Janie); grandchildren, Gil Brandon (Jennifer), Michelle Peterson (Jamie), Erica Taylor (Chip), Joshua Walker (Jessica), Rebekah Metzinger (Thor), and Israel Walker (Kathryn); and twenty great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 27 at Colonial Park United Methodist Church. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Memphis or Colonial Park UMC.
