Mildred Huddleston's Obituary
Mildred Furnatter Huddleston, age 94, passed away on January 18, 2025 in Collierville, Tennessee
She was a dedicated switchboard supervisor for Bellsouth Telephone Company for 30 years and a cherished member of the First Baptist Church-Collierville, where she sang in the choir.
Born on July 21, 1930 in Harrisburg, AR, to the late James and Blanche Cooper Furnatter, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Welch Y. Huddleston; her sisters, Olene Brown, Louise Smith, Kathrine Furnatter, Helen Brown, and Sadie Barrett; and her brother, Wilford Furnatter.
She is survived by her nephews, Mike Brown of Collierville, Tennessee, Jay Furnatter of Wiener, Arkansas and Javaine Furnatter of Jonesboro, Arkansas and a niece, Martha Furnatter of Wiener, Arkansas.
Services for Mildred will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 3:00pm in the Fireside Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Burial will take place in South woods Cemetery next to her husband.
