Mildred S. Barfoot's Obituary
Mildred Skipper Barfoot, 89, passed away October 22, 2014. Mrs. Barfoot retired from teaching at Harding Academy in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ora Skipper; husband, Thomas; 2 brothers, Norman and James Skipper. She is survived by her son, Steven; 1 granddaughter, Laresa; 1 sister, Judy Cowart; 3 brothers, Ray, Dannie and Rodney Skipper and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11:30 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home and interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
