Michael Brandon Russell's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael Brandon Russell, 35, of Collierville, TN passed away and went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2023.
Brandon was born September 17, 1987 to Michael Russell and Lori Cheshier. As a boy and young man Brandon enjoyed ATV riding, mountain biking, wood carving, cooking, football, drawing and raising bonsai trees. Brandon attended Olive Branch High School.
Brandon surrendered his life to Christ in 1999 at Camp Tsungani church camp. While heartbroken, Brandon’s family is comforted beyond measure by Brandon’s trust in Christ Jesus and His resulting grace and peace to the family in this difficult season.
Brandon is survived by his mother Lori Lee Cheshier (Derek), father Michael Russell (Rhonda), sisters Leanna Merrill (Jason), their children Nathan, Jaxon and Quinley, Sarah Logan (Eddie) and brothers Zachary Rowe, Blake Cheshier (Brooke) their daughter Piper, grandmothers Mary Ann Lee and Donna Hillis, grandfather Joe Cheshier and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and an abundance of friends.
Words cannot convey the sorrow or hole left by the loss of Brandon. He always had a smile on his face and loved a good laugh as well as making others laugh. He loved family and our family loved him. He will be greatly missed.
In these times of trouble and turmoil, Brandon’s family would ask that you find time to focus on your faith, your family and loving each other as Christ loves His church.
Services for Brandon will be led by Pastor Oscar Geeslin and are scheduled for July 25th at 6PM at Memorial Park located at 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119. Visitation will be held from 5PM-6PM. Any and all are welcome to pay their respects.

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John 10:27-30)
