Michael DeWayne Richard, 54, of Memphis and Knoxville, passed away at his residence on January 2, 2009. Mike was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his parents, Elizabeth Carter and Sam M. Richard; sister, Robin Bunard and husband Rich Bunard; son, Michael D. Richard, Jr.; daughter, Dana Barnes and husband Carl; stepdaughter, Shannon and Wayne Timberlake; step-son, Mike and Diane Boling and family; one grandson, Jacob Austin Barnes, granddaughter, Elizabeth Lauren Barnes.A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Friday, January 9, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow. All services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude Hospital.
