Michael A. Jameson's Obituary
Michael A. Jameson, 79, passed away September 29, 2013 peacefully at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN. He was born on June 26, 1934 in Chicago, IL. He was an avid Bear’s fan and optimistic Cub’s fan. Mike served in the U.S. Army, and he graduated from Northwestern University. He retired from the Kroger Company in Cincinnati, OH after almost 25 years of service. Mike was passionate about yard work, travel, and world history. He had a wonderful attention to detail. He is survived by his wife of more than 55 years, Athena (Leontios). He also leaves three children, John (Vickie), of Houston, TX, Andy, of Arlington, TN, and Beth Bruning (Ed), of Collierville, TN. He has four grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., with a Trisagion service at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 2 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 9 a.m., Thursday, October 3 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 573 N.
