Michael "Mike" Denegri's Obituary
Mike Denegri, 85, died on June 7, 2016, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Kullen Michael Denegri. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired employee of Shelby County Government, having served for over 30 years at the Shelby County Penal Farm and in the Assessors Office. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, with whom he enjoyed 52 years of marriage, his four sons, David (Patti), Mark (Angela), Steve (Katrina) and Michael III (Heather), six grandchildren, Grace, Andrew, Benjamin, Reagan, Jordyn, and Anistyn. He also leaves six sisters, Dorothy Mason, Gloria Bernardini, Judy Deming (John), and Kathy Sesti (Terry) all of Memphis, along with Jean Longhill, of Greenville, NC, and Pat Spanier (Mike), of Palm Desert, CA, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park on Thursday, June 9 from 4:30-7:00PM with Rosary at 7:00PM. The funeral mass will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church on Friday, June 10 at 10:00AM with burial to immediately follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests all memorials be sent to Poor Clares, 1310 Dellwood Avenue, Memphis, TN 38127
