Michael W Bryant's Obituary
Michael Williams Bryant was born August 29, 1952 in Memphis, TN. He graduated from White Station High School in 1970, and pursued a degree in Engineering at Memphis State. While in college he met his wife of 46 years, Janice Elaine Freeman. Upon graduation from Memphis State University he went to work for Mid-South Engineering and Equipment Company as a design engineer.
After a year with Mid-South, Mike accepted a job at W and W Construction Company as an apprentice. W and W changed it's name to HASCO, Inc in the mid 80's. Quickly mastering all aspects of the construction business, he bought the company in January 1992, and ran it as a successful general contracting business until 2018.
Mike was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. As a member of Second Baptist since 1981m he was always involved with his girl's church softball and basketball teams serving as coach for many years.
Because of his love of building and construction, he was a true handyman. He always got so much satisfaction from attending games and tournements since the 70's. He also followed his beloved Chicago Cubs. We had many family trips to watch them play in St. Louis and at Wrigley. Hw was in heaven on those trips. When they won the World Series, he was on top of the moon.
In later life his biggest joy was his precious granddaughter, Sloan. Getting to relive all the activities he shared with Amanda and Ashley brought him so much happiness. They definitely shared a special bond.
Mike remained positive throughout his fight. He continued to do the things he loved to do. He would say "this is the situation I have been given, and I'm going to go as hard as I can, for as long as I can", and that's what he did. He would want his legacy to be that of a strong, dedicated, hardworking man who loved God, and his loved his family.
