Michael Boyington's Obituary
Michael Elwyn Boyington, 40, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at The Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, June 22 and the funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23 both at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Michael was the owner and general contractor of Distinctive Homes and Sovereign Construction. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Bing Boyington; sons, Jackson Dean Boyington and William Christopher Boyington; step children, Joshua W. Burnette, Jacob W. Burnette, and Emma G. Porter; devoted mother and father, Nelwyn and Mark Hansen; sisters, Stacia Leann Frase, Anna Kalen Hansen; brother, Christopher Wade Boyington; and grandparents, Elwyn and Lois Bledsoe. He was a good, honest Christian man and an amazing father. Michael will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. To those who have asked about an alternative to flowers, the family’s attorney is in the process of setting up a trust fund to assist with Michael’s oldest son Jack’s education. As some of you may or may not know, Jack is autistic and his education is and always will be very expensive. If you do not wish to send flowers and are interested in this instead. The family is very appreciative of the overwhelming condolences that they have received.
