Geneva Meeks Kirby's Obituary
Geneva Meeks Kirby, 83, of Memphis, TN passed away on May 31, 2013. She was a lifelong member of Forest Hill Church of Christ. Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Bradshaw and two brothers, Eugene Meeks and James Meeks. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dorriance Kirby, one daughter, Jo Ann Ammons (Andy), one son, Ronald Kirby (Patricia), one brother, Robert Meeks of Senatobia,MS, four grandchildren, Philip Kirby of Memphis, Ashley Garner (Dave) of Memphis, Amy LeMaster (Randall) of Granite City, IL, and Stephanie Ammons, of Columbia, SC, and four great grandchildren. The visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with the funeral to begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Memphis School of Preaching.
