May Brunson “Nana” King, 94, of Ledbetter, KY, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at her residence.Mrs. King, a retired meat wrapper from Stepherson’s in Memphis, TN, was a Christian and a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church in Ledbetter, KY. She was a loving mother who loved her church and her family. She enjoyed reading her Bible every day.She is survived by her two children; Barbara King of Ledbetter, KY, and Mike (Cathy) King of Bartlett, TN; four grandchildren: Jessica (John) Herring of Eddyville, KY, Judith Cathey of Ledbetter, KY, Aaron (Erin) King of Jonesboro, AR, and Mary Kate King of Bartlett, TN; three great-grandchildren: Richmond-May Elizabeth Herring, Connor Michael Herring, and Samuel Aaron King; and her twin brother Ray (Mary) Brunson of Bartlett, TN.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richmond “Lucky” King, three sisters, and four brothers. Her parents were Edd Lee Brunson and Ida Francis Ellett Brunson.Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. and Service at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Fireside Chapel, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN, with her pastor Rev. Terry Mitcheson officiating. She will be laid to rest between her beloved husband Lucky and her mother in Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorial Park Funeral Home is overseeing the arrangements.
