Mr. Matthew K. Storey's Obituary
Even though Matthew left us too soon, he lived a life that all would envy. As we struggle to find solace on such a sorrowful day, know that Matthew lived his life fully and completely. He had travelled the world and witnessed beauty that was beyond measure. He lived a truly poetic life. We should take joy and comfort in that. Even though this world lost a beautiful soul, Heaven gained a magnificent angel.
Matthew K. Storey passed away on January 15, 2020 at the young age of 34. He went peacefully at home in his sleep. He leaves behind a son, Langston; his parents Jerry and Tammie Storey; his older brother Chris Storey; sister-in-law Amber Denton Storey; and niece and nephews Savannah, Brody, and Owen Storey. His family loved him dearly and we will miss him until our last breath. Matthew had the biggest heart of us all, and we will carry of piece of it forever.
A homecoming celebration will take place on Friday, January 24, 2020. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm. There will be no graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to Matthew’s Memorial Page. His Memorial is set up with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org).
