Mary Yvonne Chappell Hall's Obituary
Mary Yvonne Chappell Hall, 83, of Memphis, TN passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023.
Mary was born on September 21, 1939, in Union City, TN to Thomas Chappell and LulaDee Taylor Chappell.
She was a beloved Mother, Mother-In-Law, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend.
She is survived by her son, Tony Hall, daughter, Lynn (Keith) Nolen, granddaughter, Sarah (Michael) Tate, great-grandson, Joshua Tate, cousin, Bobby (Faye) Chappell and beloved cats, Pebbles and Bam-Bam.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and LulaDee Chappell and her brother, Ben Chappell.
She relocated to Nashville, TN in 1977 for her job as a Repair Coordinator for BellSouth (AT&T). After her retirement in 2001, she returned to Memphis to be near her family.
While Mary’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her spirit. Her family will receive relatives and friends to join them in a small celebration of her life on Friday, May 26 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
