Mary A. Wilkinson, 67, passed away on July 20, 2009 at her home in Olive Branch, MS after a long illness.She was born on June 5, 1942 in Blue Mountain, MS.She is survived by her husband, Joe Wilkinson, her mother, Opal Little, her siblings; Noal Akins of Oxford, MS, Lil Smith of Memphis, Judy Thompson of Mooreville, MS, Randy Akins of Ripley, MS, Benny Akins of Ripley, MS, Penny Daniels of Memphis, Terry Akins of Ripley, MS, Mike Akins of Ripley, MS and Nancy Akins of Olive Branch, MS. and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves her mother-in-law, Mary Wilkinson, step-children; Clay Wilkinson, Melissa Moore and Jon Wilkinson and step-grandchildren; Cody and Taylor Wilkinson.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 23 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment at Memorial Park-Southwoods Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1332 North Halsted Street, Suite 201, Chicago, IL 60642.
