Mary Swift's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Swift was taken to heaven on Monday August 27th, 2012. She joins her Husband, James E. Swift Sr., Daughter Elizabeth Anne Pillow, Her Sister Virginia Starks and parents Robert and Ruby Floyd in Glory. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, loving Mother, Grandmother and great Grandmother. She was a faithful servant of Christ and a prayer warrior. She raised four children, Elizabeth Anne Pillow, James E. Swift Jr., Robert Gerald Swift and Richard A. Swift with a strong hand and an amazing amount of love and wisdom. She was a role model and blessing to all who knew her. She was a member of Cherokee Baptist but attended Kirby Woods in her later years. She passed from death to life trusting her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Elizabeth leaves behind her sons, seven Grandchildren: Cheryl Thompson, Bart Swift, Angel Doyle, Mark Pillow, Jan Pillow, Erica Swift and Theresa “Tess” Swift, and 10 great Grandchildren, Morgan Thompson, Weston Thompson, Bailey Pillow, Caleb Pillow, Jared Pillow, Benjamin Swift, Andrew Swift, Daniel Swift, Aiden Doyle, and Ella Doyle, all of whom she adored. We were blessed to have her for 94 years and share her love and laughter. She will be missed, but forever in our hearts. And, we have the assurance that we will see her again at that great reunion in heaven. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park on Thursday evening August 30th from 5:00 – 7:00 with the Memorial celebration on Friday August 31st at 11:30.
