Mary Starnes' Obituary
The family of Mary Lee Starnes, age 84, announces her passing after a brief illness, on June 20, 2018. Mary Lee, originally from Beaumont, TX will be lovingly remembered by her 3 children, Debbie (Dave Lindsay), Mike (Lawana) and Karen (Joe Bisso). She has 6 grandchildren (Brandon and his wife Mandy Starnes, Rachel Starnes, Shannon Hamilton, Marie Wiley, James Masoncup, and Amanda Hammons) and 13 great-grandchildren. Mary Lee was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Jim, her parents Cecil and Pearla Goodson, and her sister Louise Ritter.Mary Lee had an abiding love for her church, family and friends, and animals, including her most recent companion, Molly. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar, Memphis, TN, on June 25, 2018, from 9:30 – 11:30 AM, with the service immediately following.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Hospital, Memphis Pets Alive, or Memphis Humane Society.
