Mary ‘Evonne’ Toland Siemer went to meet Jesus on Christmas Day 2018 while at Methodist Hospice Residence. She was born December 25, 1934 in Woodland Mills, Tennessee. She was preceded by her husband G. Donald Siemer, who passed a Read Obituary
Worked with her at the WhiteHaven Optimist club for over a decade. She was a wonderful leader and good Christian woman. She will be greatly missed by this community.
Evonne and Don Siemer attended numerous Memphis Fire Department graduations as representatives of the Memphis Optimists Club presenting plaques for the outstanding recruit. After the passing of her husband she continued supporting both the Fire and Police departments. She was a strong Christian woman who attended her local church regularly. She introduced my wife and I to the theatre in Memphis visiting places like the Germantown Theatre, Theatre Memphis, and Playhouse on the Square. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
We can look forward to the time when all sickness, suffering and death will be gone forever. Revelation 21:4 I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my condolences.
