Mary Shoup 83, of Mansfield, TX, formerly of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009.She was the choir director at Colonial Park United Methodist Church then later became the choir director and organist for Rebecca United Methodist Church. Mrs. Shoup became the organist and choir director at Trinity United Methodist Church where she spent many years before retiring.She leaves her son David Bryan Hairston of Mansfield, TX, her daughter Linda Hairston (Larry Wayne) Horne of Mansfield, TX, one sister Janet Ward of Burlison, TX, a granddaughter Mary Margaret Horne, and two step-grandsons James Bryan Horne and Joshua Wayne Horne.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at 2:00pm at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 5-7pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.The family requests that any memorials be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church.
