Mary Lou Shelton's Obituary
Mary Lou Shelton, 87, passed away on April 1, 2015. She was born January 11, 1928 in Cochrane, AL to Burke and Louise Sorrell. She is survived by loving husband of 62 years, Ray Shelton; daughter, Sally Holt; son, Bill Shelton; and granddaughters Hillary Fricke and Kimberly Shelton. Ray and Mary Lou were longtime members of Second Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank the many friends and caregivers for their love and support. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 4 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Committal services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 10 in the Rotunda of West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Second Presbyterian Church, Neighborhood Christian Centers, or a charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
