Mary Beth Shaw Crockarell's Obituary
Mary Beth Shaw Crockarell, 76, passed away January 27, 2018. She was born August 20, 1941to the late Isaac Carlyle and Mary Elizabeth Wainright Shaw. Mary Beth is survived by her husband of 56 years, John R. Crockarell, Sr., MD; children, Laura Leigh Holdford (Randy); John Reams Crockarell, Jr., MD (Jodie) and Jason Shaw Crockarell (Lea); grandchildren, JoBeth Summers Crockarell Currie (Adam), John Reams Crockarell, III (Rachel), Jonathan Isaac Felix, Jackson Carlyle Crockarell, Elsa Rose Crockarell and Selma Marie Crockarell and great grandchildren, Easton Edwin Currie and baby girl Crockarell (June 2018). Mary Beth went to be with Jesus with her loving family by her side. She was a “prayer warrior”. She was continuing to witness until the day she died. She was involved in many ways with Community Bible Study for more than thirty years and prior to that with Bible Study Fellowship. She also taught in the children’s ministry for many years. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the celebration of her life begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 31st at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held at a later date at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Community Bible Study International, Church Health Center, Collierville First Baptist Church or charity of the donor’s choice.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119 (901) 767-8930. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
