Mary Ruth Field's Obituary
Mary Ruth Field, 102 of Memphis passed away July 31, 2015. Mary Ruth was a member of Catholic Church of the Resurrection since 1983. She was also a member of the New Memphians for several years. Mary Ruth is survived by her children, Mary Lou Yandell and Griff Field; two grandchildren, Chris Yandell and Allison Green and three great grandchildren, Mary Katherine Green, Emerson Yandell and Griffin Yandell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Griffith Field and her brothers, Martin Steinriede and Henry Lacey Steinriede. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 3 from 5-7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at 11 am at Catholic Church of the Resurrection 5475 Newberry Avenue, Memphis, TN 38115. Memorials may be made to Sisters of St. Clare, 1310 Dellwood, Memphis, TN 38127.
