Mary Vanna Newsom, 84, of Germantown, Tennessee, passed away on September 27, 2021. Mary was born on April 28, 1937 in Ashland, Mississippi to Clarence Murley and Pearline Bailey.
Mary is survived by her children, Teresa (Tom) Marsh, Janet Lynn, Paul Creswell, Anita Kay Stubbs, Renee (Carlin) Stuart, grandchildren, Shannon Harris, Brandon Clark, Sarah Lacey, Jaime Gilhully, Heather Burrows, Thomas Stubbs, Ginger Stuart, 13 great-grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Murley and Pearline Bailey and her husband, Donald G. Newsom.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:30 p.m., all in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
