Mary Lou Mills' Obituary
Mary Lou Mills, of Lakeland, TN, age 86, wife of the late John D. Mills for over 60 years, passed away January 30, 2019. She was born June 28, 1932 in Puxico, MO to Alpha and Raymond Randall. They moved to Jackson, MO. when she was 2 years old where she lived until she married John. She was a long time member of Frayser Heights United Methodist Church in Memphis, TN. and St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lakeland, TN. She served in the church as a youth counselor and scout leader at Frayser Heights UMC. Mary Lou was a bookkeeper for a local CPA firm for over 30 years. As a hobby, Mary Lou was very artistic and liked doing crafts and interior decorating. She also enjoyed cultivating and planting in the garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Alpha Randall and one brother, Donald Randall. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Mueller of Lakeland, TN., son, David Mills (LeAnn) of Collierville, TN; brother, Ron Randall of Ft. Worth, TX; and two grandchildren, Brian (Larianne) of Bartlett, TN. and Ashlee Mills of Collierville, TN. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, February 7 and services will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 8 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
