Mary M. Milam's Obituary
Mary Esther Milam, 87, of Counce, TN gently passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, John A. Miller, her mother, Minnie Snypes Miller, her husbands, RuAllen L. Schmidt and Thomas H. Milam, and by her daughter Teena Schmidt Green. She is survived by her son Rudy Schmidt, a son-in-law, Jon Green, a step-daughter Mary Kay Kuhns (Fred); grandchildren, Kim, Kevin and Amanda Kuhns, Nicole Murphree (Craig Pownall), Adam Green (Emily), Alicia Branan (Jeff), and Alexis Eddleman (Chip); and ten great-grandchildren, Gracyn, Riley, Will, Lauren, Jacob, Brayden, Ryder, Levi, Rhys, and Laken. She graduated from Humes High School and worked as a traffic manager for Kraft Foods. She was a member of Pickwick United Methodist Church. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 14th from 5-7pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The funeral will be on Monday, January 15 at 2pm also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow.. “Celebrating Life… Behind the Stone Wall”.
