Mary L. (Dixie) Ely's Obituary
Mary Lee Ely (Dixie) of Bartlett Tennessee, 78, passed away on January 17, 2021. Earlier in life she worked as a legal secretary and started her own business “Dixie‘s Secretarial Service”. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred Ely and Richard Ely Sr.
She is survived by her best friend Cherry Johnson, brothers Richard Ely, Jr (wife Alison) and Robert Ely (wife Mary), 3 nieces and 2 nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews.
Earlier in life she was an avid hunter and basketball player. Her hobby was painting.
Her visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. also on Wednesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
