Mary Patricia Kulinski's Obituary
Mary “Patricia” Kulinski passed away surrounded by family on February 27, 2024.
Patricia was born on April 2, 1958, in Nashville, Tennessee to Edward and Patsy Mogan.
She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, attended Immaculate Conception Cathedral School and graduated from Memphis Central High School. She attended Memphis State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree. After graduating from Memphis State University, she worked at St. Jude for a period of time and then she attended the University of Tennessee Law school and received a Juris Doctor degree in 1987 and passed the bar exam soon after. Patricia then proceeded to start her career in law with many diverse areas of expertise as well as an abundance of charity law.
While working at St. Jude, Patricia met Robert “Bob” Kulinski and they married in 1992. They had many animal children during years of marriage with her favorite being a little Yorkshire Terrier named “Scarlett” they were inseparable. Patricia was a huge animal lover and donated to many of the local animal shelters in the Memphis area. Patricia was a huge basketball fan and loved attending the Grizzlies and Tiger games with Bob and watching them on television with her mother and Bob. Patricia learned the game of golf from her mother and enjoyed playing with her friends and Bob. Patricia enjoyed traveling and had many wonderful trips and adventures with Bob and her family and friends.
Patricia was a very devout Catholic and Christian following in her Father's footsteps. She was a member of the Church Of The Resurrection where she loved serving as a Eucharistic minister and participating and volunteering in many of the church’s missions and activities. Patricia also donated her legal expertise to the church whenever the needs arose.
Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Edward Mogan, M.D., her mother, Patsy Mogan, and her sister, Angela McAllister. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Robert Kulinski, and two sisters, Kathryn Cauthen(Charles) of Tampa, Fl., Monica Crackel(Matthew) of Collierville Tn., and two nephews, Sean Cauthen, and Peyton Cauthen, brother-in-law, Leon Kulinski(Kathy), and sister-in-law, Lucretia Anderson (Bruce), and 3 nephews and 2 nieces, Matthew Kulinski(Michele), Mark Kulinski(Kelly), Kara Kulinski, Robbie Anderson(Carrie), and Ann Paine(Stephen).
Patricia loved her family, friends, pets, church, profession and life in general. She lived everyday to the fullest of her ability showing kindness and love to whomever she encountered. She will be missed greatly by everyone, but we are all better for having her a part of our lives. May she rest in peace.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 3 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tn. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4 at Church Of The Resurrection, 5475 Newberry Ave, Memphis, Tn., 38115. There will be a graveside service at Calvary Cemetary, 555 Oak Grove St, Oil City, Pa., 16301, 814-677-3020 TBA.
