Mary Jacqueline Keywood's Obituary
Mary Jacqueline (Jackie) Keywood was born on September 4, 1934 to the late Jack Harris Brooks and Mary Elizabeth Brooks. She passed away peacefully on December 2, 2022 at the age of 88.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Benjamin Keywood and leaves behind two children, Karen Lynn Keywood and Benjamin Brooks Keywood. She also leaves a brother, Jack Harris Brooks, Jr.
Jackie spent most of her life in Memphis where she worked in administrative positions for various companies including EmCo Marketing, Nationwide Insurance and AutoChlor Corporation. She made many life-long friends during her professional career.
Her faith was important to her and she was a member of several Methodist churches during her lifetime in Memphis. She was very generous and supported multiple charities on a regular basis.
Jackie enjoyed shopping for antiques and going to flea markets. However, one of her favorite pastimes was a casino trip and she journeyed to Tunica whenever the opportunity presented itself.
She was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her children. Jackie provided her family with delightful holidays and special memories for many years.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, with the Memorial Service following at 11:00 am in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar. A reception will immediately follow in The Parkside Event Center.
