Mary Haynes' Obituary
Mary Tee Haynes, 89, entered her heavenly home July 20, 2017. She loved her family, friends and church. As a young family living in Frayser her and her husband, Herbert Brown were faithful, longtime members of Dellwood Baptist Church where her husband served as a deacon. After the death of her husband, Herbert she later married Jack Haynes and they served the Lord at Frayser Baptist Church where Jack served as a deacon. After the death of her husband, Jack and moving to Bartlett she loved serving the Lord at Bartlett Baptist where once again she made new friends. She loved her Sunday School classes and attending all the senior events. Since a young girl she loved to cook and clean house. She was known for keeping an immaculate house. It was her delight to prepare everyone’s favorite dish whether for friends at church or family. She loved working in the yard, her flowers, hanging her clothes out on the line and getting her hair done every week. She loved going to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren play ball. She had a love for animals and especially had a big heart for cats. She spoiled many over her lifetime.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert William Brown and Marvin “Jack” Haynes. She is the last of five brothers and four sisters.She is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Mike) Butler of Bartlett, TN and Patty (Richard) Young of Arlington, TN, two grandsons, Toby (Amber) Manley and Billy (Miranda) Manley and one granddaughter, her namesake, Mary Ann Manley. She leaves nine great grandchildren, Caroline and Caden Manley, Harting and McKinnley Watkins and her namesake, Cannon Tee Manley, Taylor and Ashtyn Manley and Justice and Tatihana Kelley. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 with her service to follow at 11:30 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
