Mary Elizabeth Doran's Obituary
Mary Doran, 74, of Memphis, TN passed away on November 11, 2021 at her home with her Brother, John, present. Mary was born in Chester, PA to Joseph and Audrey Doran.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Arlene Runnels. She is survived by her brothers, John and Joseph Doran, a niece, and nephews.
Mary resided in many states throughout her life and held several positions. She worked many years as a legal secretary and as a billing clerk until her retirement.
Mary had many interest over her lifetime, but her most devoted passions were that of fashion and animals, especially cats. She loved fashion including the newest clothing trends and current hair styles. She paid attention to every detail of how she presented herself, whether going to work, an appointment, or just going out.
Mary’s love for her cats was evidenced by her selfless dedication and devotion in caring for them. Over the years, she had dozens and dozens of cats, all of which she could remember their names and described each one in detail. Mary never met a cat that she wasn’t willing to adopt, take in and love.
Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends
There will be a visitation held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 from 1:30pm until 2:30pm. Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
