Mary Jo Comer's Obituary
Mary Jo Comer, 87, beloved wife and mother went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2017. She married the love of her life, Leo Comer 69 years ago in Fulton, MS, but moved to Memphis a short time later. All three of their children were born in Memphis, TN. Mary Jo leaves her husband, Leo, three children, Kay Gibson (George) of Collierville, Carol Comer of Memphis, and Ken Comer (Bee) of Burke, VA., five grandchildren, Lisa Bare, Mary Gibson, Don C. Jenkins III, Patrick Comer and Christopher Comer, five great-grandchildren, and her sister, Wilena Benefield, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe W. Brown. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park on Friday, March 3 from 5:00-6:00PM with the service to follow immediately. Burial will be held Saturday, March 4 in Fulton, Ms. at Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
