Sorry to hear about Ms. Mary! Ms. Mary was very kind to Joslyn and me growing up in the neighborhood. She was a good mama too! I remember fondly the road trip together with the Bistolfi family to the Great Smokey Mountains. Asking now for God’s abundant peace and love for your family during this time of sadness. Love, Jennifer
Mary would join us for coffee at Chick-fil-A and tells us about her children, the Casino adventures with the Ladies of Charity trips from the Target parking lot, and the saga of her car. She was always happy and shared fond memories of Johnny and holiday dinners with her loving family. She loved to have them over and cook wonderful Italian food for them. She never had a bad word about anyone. She always had a smile and a spirit that was upbeat. She will be remembered in our prayers. Miss you Mary! From Barbara and family
I was so sorry to learn that her hacking cough ended up much more serious than either one of us thought. We were laughing and talking at an Italian Ladies Club meeting and she just said, “I’ve got to go see about this cough.” She was always careful about her diet and exercise and had a great outlook on life. We had some great times together and I miss her. She loved her girls and their families and was very proud of them. My love goes out to all of you. (Oh, she and my James are probably looking down on us and laughing about the good old days when they were all growing up in Cordova.)
I am so sorry for your loss; please know that you are not alone; you can find much comfort in the Holy Scriptures which assures us at Psalms 34:18 that God is near to those broken at heart and crushed in spirit; please accept my deepest sympathies
