Mary Elizabeth Burton's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Burton, 85, of Germantown, passed away on March 27, 2011. Mrs. Burton was born in Brookeline, MA and was a longtime resident of Germantown, before moving to Lifepoint Village in Southaven, MS. Mrs. Burton was a member of Germantown Baptist Church, and was retired from Sun Oil Company in Framingham, MA as a Human Resource Manager. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Burton. Mrs. Burton is survived by her sister in law, Jean Burton Spiers, four nephews, Burton Spiers, Todd Spiers, Donald Park, and Freddie Park, and three nieces, Diane Park, Lorraine Spiers, Angela Spiers, and a special friend Susan Holliday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery, located at 5485 Hacks Cross Rd. Memphis, TN. Memorials may be made to Mid- American Baptist Theological Seminary, P.O. Box 2350, Cordova TN 38088.
