Mary Janette Autry, 92, passed away September 19, 2014. She was born on January 5, 1922. Mrs. Autry was a retired Nurse and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Memphis. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Rauls, of Warren, AR; sons, Dr. Joseph H. Autry, III, of Potomac, MD, David E. Autry (Pat), of Olney, MD, and Donald D. Autry (Lorie), of Germantown, TN; grandchildren, Manning Autry (Margaret), Chris Autry, Jason Autry, Michael Autry (Krista), R. J. Autry (fiancée Lindsy Tiano), Hallie Autry; and great-grandchildren, Kalli Autry, Hunter Autry, Lauryn Autry, Brandon Autry, Mary Kenzie Autry, Piper Autry, Miles Autry, Nora Autry. Mrs. Autry was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Autry, Jr. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday September 23 and funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 24 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
