Mary Alice Arrington Grafton's Obituary
Mary Alice Arrington Grafton, 85, passed away on October 2, 2013. She was born in Carrollton, MS on October 3, 1927. Mrs. Grafton graduated from JZ George High School in 1944, and then graduated from the Baptist Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis, TN in 1948. Mrs. Grafton also graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1952. She married George McMurtray Grafton, Jr. on November 29, 1953. She retired from Nursing in 1980. Mrs. Grafton is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Beth Grafton Crenshaw, and her husband George McMurtray Grafton, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Alice Belle Grafton Boswell, five grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Crenshaw Tullos and her husband Kevin, Benjamin Edward Crenshaw and his wife Molli, Robert Grafton Boswell and his wife Lindsey, David Pate Boswell, and Mary Alice Boswell, and one great granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Tullos. Mrs. Grafton was a member of Gracewood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service time at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Gracewood Baptist Church, 8551 Getwell Rd., Southaven, MS. Interment will be in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery on Hacks Cross Rd. Memorials may be made to Gracewood Baptist Church.
