Mary Anne Eustace's Obituary
Mary Anne Eustace, 76, formerly of Memphis, TN, resident of Lafayette, LA for most of her life, passed away on September 29, 2013. Mary Anne taught school at Mount Carmel in Abbeville, St. Cecilia in Broussard, and Alice Boucher Elementary School in Lafayette. She loved spending time with her grandson and her many friends. She loved supporting her alma mater, The University of Tennessee Volunteers. She was a devoted, life long member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Lafayette. Mary Anne was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed. She is survived by two daughters, Betsy Christofferson (Craig) of Dallas, TX, and Lynn Sanders (Scott) of Alexandria, LA; one grandson, Spencer Sanders; one step granddaughter, Clarisa Ault of Dallas, TX; one sister, Katherine Eddings (Bill) of Germantown, TN; one niece, Alex Walter (Bob) of Germantown, TN; and one great niece, Maggie Walter of Germantown, TN.She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank McCollum. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the service time at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 5 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Eustace’s name to St. Barnabas Episcopal Church at 400 Camellia Blvd. Lafayette, LA 70503.
