Mary B. Adams' Obituary
After a courageous 7 year battle with multiple myeloma, Mary Bright Adams, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully at her home on August 16, 2015. Married to Carl Adams for 36 years, Mary Bright cherished their children, Coers and Mary Tipton. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Russell D. Hensley on May 30, 1960 in Dyersburg, TN, she attended the University of Mississippi where she met her husband, Carl. In addition to her husband, children, and parents, Mary Bright leaves a brother Rusty Hensley (Missy), their children John (Camille) and Hunt, and a sister, Laura Beth Matson (Arnie) and their children Anna Lewis, Rebecca, and Bennett. Mary Bright was a dedicated woman of faith. Her passion was knowing the Word of God and making it known to others. She will be missed by so many whose lives she touched, including the staff at West Clinic and Vanderbilt Hospital where she received treatments during her illness. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00 on Friday, August 21st followed by a celebration of her life and faith at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Mary Bright be sent to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, www.LLS.org Arrangements are being handled by Memorial Park. .
