Martha Grace Wood's Obituary
Martha Grace Newkirk Wood, 85, died September 15, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis. She was born July 15, 1925. She was member of Trafalgar Village Baptist Church. She was a teacher at Trenor’s Day School and Briarcrest Pre-School. Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Wood. She leaves two daughters, Kay Wood Emanus, and Merle Lynn Wood; three grandchildren, Chris Emanus (Josie), Dawn Fisher (Dave), and Kirstie Humphrey; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan fisher, and Kolby Fisher. She is survived by one sister, Marie Tucker of Russellville, AR. The visitation will be held 5p.m. to 8p.m. Friday, September 17, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 18, also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
